The Academic Activities committee strives to create a good information flow and make all your academic activities a little easier. It was founded in 2012 with the underlying thought to help LAS students make it through their academic life. This committee has several projects each year with the goal to better inform the students about a specific decision or assignment they have to make. The Liberal Arts and Sciences program offers a study where quite a few important decisions are still to be made during the time as a bachelor student.
As of 2017, Academic Activities committee will start with organizing short excursions around the Netherlands and neighboring countries in order to broaden the academic horizons of students, while still traveling and having fun at the same time. There will be visits to cultural places, with topics related to the curriculum, but also other important sights.
Academic activity committee organizes the following events:
- Crash Courses (additional preparation for the exam)
- Major Session for first year students to choose a major
- The Bachelor Thesis Information Session
