A clip of the day itself was provided by Jesse Huiskamp.
In 2014 Extra Muros was invited to participate in the international event Gender Unlimited devoted to the reform of Gender Policy of Tilburg University.
But what is ‘Gender unlimited’? On Thursday the 5th of March of last year (2015), Tilburg University organized ‘Gender Unlimited’, the yearly international event in the context of international women’s day (which was on the 8th of March). Gender Unlimited is the place to get inspired about gender in research, teaching, practice and campus life and were we go beyond boundaries and exceed dualities pertaining to women and men. It contained a diverse set of interactive plenary and parallel sessions.
Extra Muros participated last year and created a wonderful documentary about the gender differences on the workplace. Mutiple people in high positions were interviewed for this documentary (men AND women were interviewed). Check out the clip below for the short documentary!
With our documentary we won the Gender Unlimited Award. This award is given to the association with the best content presented. Vitruvian was also present with an interactive activity which made people have a broader perspective of gender. FOSST performed a beautiful dance with only two dancers.
The Award was a beatiful photograph of Lars Köning (former board member of Extra Muros and co-founder of Vitruvian), dressed as a a Magnificus Rectum. Unfortunately I cannot share the picture because of the author rights but I encourage you to check it out on the website!
