IT’S JUST ME, MYSELF AND I
By Sara Cattaneo
With Valentine’s Day approaching, many single people might feel a sense of dread and the ever-looming presence of romance in the air. But fear not: I’m here to help you navigate the day with ease.
There are plenty of ways to spend this totally essential holiday. Sleeping is a personal favorite of mine, you simply skip the whole thing and wake up on the other side. If that’s not an option, a nice glass of red wine or Pinot Grigio (alone or with friends) is always a solid plan, because, let’s be honest, wine makes most things better.
If you have friends who are free, why not celebrate Galentine’s instead? A sleepover, baking cookies (or pizza… or both), and just enjoying each other’s company can make for a great night. Another fun option? Treat yourself and stock up on discounted chocolates, sweets, and flowers, you deserve them anyway.
At the end of the day, figuring out what to do when you’re single on Valentine’s has never really been a problem. Sure, the day holds meaning for many couples, but in reality, it’s just another date on the calendar. Being single, whether by choice or not,is nothing to stress about. You are loved, no matter your relationship status. So whatever you decide to do this Valentine’s, I hope it brings you a little joy.
