On Monday, May 15 (Nakba Day) at 5:30pm we’ll be screening Farha in Cube 222. Farha (Dir. Darim J. Sallam) is a 2021 internationally co-produced historical drama film about a Palestinian girl’s coming-of-age experience during the Nakba, the 1948 displacement of Palestinians from their homeland. This is the 5th film of the Law and Politics film series that we are organizing with our lecturer Michiel Bot and this time also in cooperation with the Palestine Solidarity Tilburg! The movie will be shown in Arabic with English subtitles. Michiel will introduce the film and we’ll be ending with a short discussion. You are welcome to bring friends and snacks!
