Monster of the Week, a Roleplaying Game
Dear LASers,
It is time for the first RPG night of the year! (like Dungeons and Dragons but more fun).
November the 5th, Extra Muros will be organizing a game of Monster of the Week in the Common Room.
We start at 17:30 (so eat early or bring some food).
Sadly, there are only 16 spots available. If the sign-up form is full, do put yourself under reserves, we might be able to accommodate for more people. This also means that if you have signed up but can’t come, you should remove yourself from the list. You can sign-up here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RHIqkTGJyjDekBCXzivqSP2f8dZNcR7TxRabfdjfL1U/edit?usp=sharing
What is Monster of the week?
In monster of the week, you play as a group of 4 monster hunters who solve riddles, explore the world and fight monsters. It is a pen and paper roleplaying game, meaning that while playing, players can try to take actions (investigate, punch, dance) and a game leader will let them roll dice to see if they succeed. Based on the rolls, the story progresses.
Monster of the Week is a good beginner game, with simple rules, but tactical gameplay. It has lots of flavor and is mostly about collaborative storytelling!
