Socrates once said that “Wonder is the beginning of wisdom”. It is in that spirit that the Academic Committee invites you to participate in the second installment of the Wonder Sessions- a series of conversations about present philosophical and cultural topics. Our goal is to search for the truth to deepen our humanity.
Since mentors are essential in the pursuit of wisdom, at least one academic is invited to be present in a Wonder Session.
For this installment, there will be 3- namely Mark Vitullo, Fr. Michiel Peters and Michiel Bot. The topic will be “Freedom, Truth and Education- Holy or Unholy Trinity?”.
We hope to see you this Thursday (October 12th) in the LAS home turf (the common room) at 16:45. Please bring any questions you might have on the topic and don’t be afraid to ask them- more importantly, don’t be afraid to listen.
