About

Besides the people, what makes the Liberal Arts so enticing is its dialectical tradition. For that to happen, however, there must be space for conversations. Thus, we invite you to participate in the LAS Wonder sessions- there, you will have a chance to meet with a passionate academic and discuss, over some drinks (because everything is better over some drinks), interesting subjects and topics with the aim of better understanding the present moment and making a positive difference through your academic work. Why the name “Wonder sessions”? Because wonder is the desire for knowledge!

Mark Vitullo will be our guest for the evening. His topic of choice is “The Artist and the Algorithm: Life as a Writer in the World of the Internet and A.I.” Are you excited? We hope to see you on the 24th of May, in the Common Room, at 3:30 pm.
Feel free to invite a friend (need not be from LAS). Cheers!

“Of all the pursuits open to men, the search for wisdom is most perfect, more sublime, more profitable, and more full of joy.”- St. Thomas Aquinas.”
